View Full Version : Need help finding one of these

Hi all,

I've been looking around for what looks like a SATA distribution box. For a good example look here (http://www.million-dollar-pc.com/systems-2010/pink-project-janik/037.htm), about 3/4 of the way down the page. They are usually mounted on the back of the motherboard tray, and are mainly seen in high end builds. I'm just curious what this is as I would like to do something like this for my current system, and maybe for my daughters system. Thanks in advance.

I think it's a multi fan power port similar to this. (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1024/bus-81/SunBeam_Multi_Fan_Power_Port_MFPP.html?tl=g34c17)
There's lots of them on that site but not quite the same, it may a one off, it wouldn't be hard to make one, the one in the picture just has a piece of grill on the top of it but looks good.

yea, thats also a splitter for his LEDs, not a SATA. The SATA ports on the bottom are a result of him soldering the ports to the rear of the board :bowdown:
