AKA a fan! :D

So my entertainment center tends to get a bit hot and I'm worried about my stuff overheating. That is why my Game Systems all sit on top of the entertainment center. I bought a 150mm 110v AC fan from FrozenCPU. Its uber powerful and loud so I had to buy a speed controller to quiet it down.

Here it is

The entertainment center sits about 4-5" away from the wall. Should I have the air pulling in? or pulling out?

I would put the fan at the top blowing air out. The higher pressure cool air will already be trying to get in. Let the hot air out at the top so it is able to.

I second the 'exhaust fan'. Anywhere towards the top will work fine. If the cabinet closes up fairly tight, you might consider drilling some intake holes in the bottom so the same volume of air that is being exhausted can easily find its way in at the same rate.
