Tank Treads?

Anyone know where I can get tank treads to use on a PC? I have two upcoming mods that need them. All I can think of is buying toys and ripping them off of there, but I would need large toys with big treads. Thus more $$

when I was building my sandcrawler, I did a little bit of research on tank treads (eventually decided to build fake ones as it was a lot easier). I found out that in the film model, they used metal treads from a tank model, and molded and cast wider treads which they attached to each and every original tread. That *could* be a viable option if you have the tools necessary (although it might be less durable).

Was looking into treads for a tank project I wanna someday finally build.

Looking on ebay, conveyor chain is fairly cheap. Like $100 for 10' of stainless steel table topped chain.


Well, maybe not cheap... but less then I thought it'd cost.
