craigs list posting... some guy built this with his tax return $$ for BF3, then decided to sell it because "I just dont play it anymore" so all the guts of this are going into JPmeyer038's Mod (which will finally have a proper worklog this weekend). he basicly got an i7 1366 system, a 580, psu, (everything but the case, 500gb hdd, and monitor) for $450.

So my friend and I split the cost, So heres the final figures. I paid in $250 and got

The monitor, the case, the 500gb drive, my friend's 6950 (the twin to my own) and an additional 4gb of ram (again the twin to my own).

He got

The 580, the psu, the mobo, ram, 1tb drive, processor, cooler. And we finished his case today.


heres a shot of the case with my stuff installed in it, (after i washed it down with lysol, as the guy i bought from was a smoker...)

I get my 2nd 6950 when my friend comes back in town, I re cut the window, because i think it needs to be bigger, and my C channel comes in to finish the window off (as i'm too lazy to do more than the tape mount method in this case)
