This is my first(and hopefully not my last :) ) post here.

Well, I had a wooden box lying around, collecting dust
and I figured that a CPU would fit.

I do not have work-logs , but here's the result:

What's in the box?

Well, everything is thrown-away stuff:

PIII 550
256 Mbyte RAM
CD-player
2x HD 4.2Gbyte
1x HD 3.2Gbyte
soundcart aztech2320
non-3d graphical cart
650Watt powersupply
10Mbit ethernet chart

Ubuntu 5.10 + Xubuntu & Fluxbox
2nd boot: Dapper Beta 2

Basicly it's just a test-box for operating systems

strolling through the gallery here, my attempt for case-modding is just peanuts when I see the other projects
I still have alot to learn

what do'yall think of this project?

one thing hit me fast: 650w psu?
about the mod.. it is very nice.. could use just a lil touch of stealthing.. color matching.. well, if you wish... it is still very nice.. this box could turn out a great mod if u color the metal and plastic parts to loook like wood.. maybe even some construction in the back and front to make the box.. a box again.. a weekend mod.. i especially like the drawing on the box :)

What's the monitor standing on? It looks like a speaker stand...

I agree with dgrmkr, it looks good but there's room for improvement, especially with the way that CD drive looks.

On the whole, not bad though.

for a first mod, its great. always good to start out small, and get better with time.

Thanks guys 8)

the CD hasn't been "stealthed" because it is going to be replaced by a DVD.
And that one will be stealthed with a thin sheet of balsawood (0.5milimeter)

that looks like a gigantic honkin' heatsink on the video card. what kind is that/do you find it effective?
