Hi I think I have found the ultimate SLI PSU. it's cheep, it's 500W and it looks cool. It's the Ultra X-Finity 500 Watt PSU. In Australia this sells for $115.00 AUS and it's about $100 cheaper than anyother decent PSU with SLI connectors. Here's a link http://www.ultraproducts.com/product_details.php?cPath=60&pPath=383&productID=384
Check it out.

I wouldn't say it's too good to be true, but be very wary.
That PSU is 100$ USD, but mine (Antec TruePower 2.0 480w) was 120$ USD.
And mine's non-sli.
so as i said, be very wary and do your homework.

if you want a good psu, go with this one...

or the one i have,

the x2 psu from ultra are much much better. the original ultra psu's were pretty crappy. ive had mine for a few months, and ive had/ and heard nothign but good about x2 ultra's psu. but omega has a very good point. you sould really research a lot. but.. antec would be a good choice. my last psu was an antec smartpower 2.0 450. nothing but good from antec.
Research your products.

If all you want is a computer it's a good buy. If you want a computer with multiple video cards, a good CPU, etc. then it's a piece of crap. Ultra doesn't make any PSU worth purchasing. If you want a good brand go with a PC Power and Cooling... but don't expect them to be cheap... Antec is a good alternative for the money concious though.

I looked at the effeciency rating for the PSU you posted (Ultra X-Finity 500)
and I can't say I'm impressed it never gets better than 78% and it drops off even more on a heavy load (the opposite of what other PSUs do). That means at least 22% of the electricity going into it is conveted into heat you have to get rid of.
