Hey guys I have been trying to find a good quality large capacity m3 player for a while now. I had a 30 gb zune but it died. So I was wandering what everyone's input was for the best bang for the buck.
ps. If your have been wondering where I've been. I have been working and working on my monte carlo constantly. Let me know if anyone would like to see pics.

I've had 3 different Zunes now. Love them and will never get a different player.

Creative Zen Touch.
Uses a 2.5" HDD!!! used to have a 250GB in mine.

But there "olde" by todays standards, no video or color screen or fancy features.
But if all you need is a battery that lasts all day, the ability to make music playlists on the fly, and need to store 72 hours of techno music... that might be up your alley.

Up that with a 1TB HDD!
I guess you could?
I'd of s@#t my pants if you said 1TB drive in a 2.25" form factor back then though.

Hah, You definantly knew it was in your pocket, But i thought of it like i had a panther tank in my pocket.
it's heavy and slow with not a lot of piz-az. but it'll shoot big rounds and hold a s@#t load of them, and all the other mp3 players rounds can't penetrate the awesome density of its diamondiaum armor.
5,400rpms do work in the player, never tried a 7,200rpm drive, but as is pretty obvious here it'll drain the power faster. but i mean it wasn't really all to noticeable with my 5,400 at the time.

I'd use an SSD
It's IDE.
If you really wanted to, you could probably put in a standard 2.5" and build a custom case for it.

A SSD won't have any issues with skipping if you jar it too much. Plus, a lot more durable.

never once heard it skip. even riding a bicycle lol.
i think it cached it before it sent it out for processing or some jazz like that.... like them real old CD players.
SSD would probably do hilariously better on battery life though! it'd probably be the ultimate "mp3 only" player around if you did that to a zen touch.

I liked the zen touch a lot, but every once and a while it would glitch out and freeze. But hey, haven't had any better luck with my ipod classic... haha but it was free, can't argue with that :whistler:

Yup it'd do it if you made a internal playlist, and then removed the song from that play list. it's like it didn't know what do to about it and went ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Heres one on ebay.
but i'd be extremely suspicious of the seller, seeing as there is 1 bid in three days and the seller himself has never sold a item.
