Today I ordered one of these - but am having a hard time making up my mind on a motherboard.

Anyone have one and have a recommendation of a good board to float with it?

Buddy of mine has the same processor and says he is using this:

But it looks like the reviews aren't fantastic. I'm not dead set on an EVGA really but just want something that'll work with my 8800GT and other components. All I have is my soundcard (one pci slot) and my 8800GT and those are the only cards and then 2 hard drives running sata..

You want MicroATX? If not I really really like my Asus P67 Sabertooth. I has the thermal armor that you can paint and it hides all the ugliness of a mobo.

I'll go search up that motherboard now. Is it pretty reliable? Good stuff? Will flow well with what i've got?

Yes it has more than enough expansion slots for you. Can do SLI. The board automatically Overclocks the 2600K to 4.4GHz

Next time you need an Intel CPU, ask me about it. I live within driving distance of a Micro Center, and go there usually at least once a month.

Alright after researching a lot of reviews and benchmarks I ended up going with gigabyte. I also got 8gb of 2133 on the way.

Also visited xoxide :) I've got some stuff on the way. I think it's time for a case mod.
