I'm there. So is Doom 3: Project Mars City for its debut. The boat leaves from Brooklyn, NY. Anyone from the NYCity area willing to take the trip and share expenses?.

Is there a site somewhere with info on it? I want to take project cirque du soleil, I need some more info, Google isn't helping very much at the moment...
But I'd love to go.
I am not much of a gamer, but is there a modding contest there as well?
I am looking to find some contests to enter in coming up soon. Does Maximum PC and CPU still have the "Rig of the Month" kind of things going?
I treid to get to go but wouldn't be able to get a hotel (only 17 here), and I'd have to bring one of my parents and they don't want to have to get off work. There already missing about 2 weeks later this fall for other things and don't want to miss more. Hope you guys have fun though. Be sure to get some pics 8).

Lol CBB! I figured I was the only one that could spit fire on these forums...
I can eat fire too, on a side note. And I have done fire passing, as well as juggled torches, done fire diabolo, and fire poi. (I am a bit of a circus freak)

What no one lighting their farts? C'mon! Friend of mine burned all the hair off his ass doing it.
fire poi
Wow do I have a strange image.
I know poi is a Hawaiian food (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poi_%28food%29) that looks like oatmeal. I just can't imagine juggling the stuff.

Lol, this is a guy doing lit fire poi:

Poi are very simple. They are a large wick on the end, and then either a chain or a string attached to a handle that you spin them with. They take a lot of master, but are fairly easy to pick up. Here are some unlit fire poi:

tybrenis,
Have you ever been engulfed in flames? (think stunt man in flame suit).... Did that one on accident
THe breathing fire thing I picked up in collage...tought my self in about 5 mins one night....after well sevral adult bevrages... Then learned the right way sometime later....now I'm much safer, well if you can be safe with a mouth full of alcohol and a flame by your face.
I'll warn everyone Don't try this at home, you can be burned very baddly. It is for trained professionals only.

I have never been completely engulfed in flames, however I have had both my arms, my head, my chest and stomach, and my legs on fire before.

That is absolutely correct. Under no circumstances should anyone try to do this at home or without supervision of an experienced instructor. I know that might sound dumb but trust me, I have seen quite a few people get really injured trying to do stuff like this. However, if you know how to do it the right way, it can actually be quite fun and makes for some great circus shows!

Fire poi can be AMAZING if you're good at it! Last summer in france I met a couple at a beach party - the man was a fire eater and his wife was an expert at fire poi. It was breathtaking watching them, they realy made the party! Especialy when, after a slight conflict with the police we were forced to put out our fire and run very fast in different directions, we found ourselves with no tinder for our fire. No problem, I got the fire eater to light it with one huge fireball :D my friend filmed it on his phone, and he uses so much fuel that after he breathes the main fireball, two jets of fire shoot from his nostrils :D I'll try to get hold of the footage some time it's hilarious :D

Yo, Paul! Glad to see that you will be joining us misfits at MML this year. In the spirit of the United Nations and your great city of N.Y. I am starting a goodwill exchange program called "Tequila for Cigars" I'm sure that you will gladly donate to a good cause. Can't wait to see your crew.

I work in TGI Fridays, and the barmen are each to have a 'fling', which is a routine of bottle juggling to entertain guests. It used to be in the contract that you would agree to setting yourself on fire for flings. (fling might be the wrong word...something that sounds like that anyway.)
Anyway, we had a Barman from another country in, and in his resteraunt they like FIRE flings, which ended with the barman spraying fire from his mouth with an alcohol. Anyway, this guy was popular for about 6 months, when someone bumped him during his routine. Result? His face covered in flaming alcohol.
At this point, the manager, who was supposed to be trained in first aid, threw water in his face. I'm sure you can image the damage that did. Anyway, TGI's said he was doing something dangerous and refused to compensate him, and he went home-I don't what eventually happened, but they don't do fire flings in my TGI Fridays anymore.

Tyb where are you located?
THeLan Ohio Waffle train Starts just south of Akron, Oh and runs down through columbus, OH to louiville, KY (we have an early train that runs from lansing, MI to Akron the day before).
Can you get a ride from Doyletown to Canton the night before? We might be able to hook you up from there (gas monies apreciated).

Thanks for the generous offer, CBB! That, I think, is one thing I might be able to do. My parents are pretty busy that week, however - so I think I will try and take a train/bus across PA and maybe meet you guys there. Do you think I could make it in one day by train (I'm about 5 minutes from the NJ border,so FAR east PA)?

No Biggie. it's about an 8 hr ride on the Greyhound from NYC to Cleveland. (Don't ask me how I know) I could give you a ride from Cleveland to Canton, and we can pick up the Waffle Train Express from there.

That's just on of the many Reasons we call it the waffle train (propibly the only one that I'd share publicly... the others or inside jokes :) ;) )
We're allways looking for added train Cars, so if your heading to MML and your along the Route (US30 West to I-71 South into Louiville,KY), and want to follow us in Drop me or Heywood a line we'll work out the details for meeting up. See how Big THe Waffle Train can get this year :).
Tyb,
There is an Amtrack station in Canton, Grayhound as heywood pointed out and Amtrack hit Cleveland as for how long the train takes from like Harrisburg to CLeveland ???? Check the station or online?
