I know the pictures are kind of crummy but i don't know where my camera is so i used my phone. Plans are

: Water Cooling!!

Remove all the blue from the mobo and paint the ram

Make the PSU white instead of yellow (writing)

I also want to work on the lighting...

Don't paint the RAM, if you want white strip the anodize and polish them, if you want black just strip the heatspreaders. They're not really necessary...

How would i do that? I don't know if i can remove the spreaders (i've heard horror stories)

Horror stories are right - while you'll get away with it 19 times out of 20 - I've heard of (and seen) ram sticks wrecked by a broken solder point when too much force has been used getting heatsinks off :S

Oh i've pulled a whole ram chip off the stick before trying to remove a heatspreader.

Yup... That is not something to try and do to your ram your using.

But there's a catch...

It leaks... Any ideas? or even a replacement? If i have to replace it i want a white cover... because its cooler that way.

Possibly some bits of i7 still stuck to it too... :/

And of course some ****ty coolant was used with it...

But considering he paid me $60 AND gave me a trade of this... im pretty okay

So considering I'm not currently water cooling, i thought I would look into my stash and see what i had...

Not a bad start i guess...

The design in my head however, calls for white radiators... as you can see above i have 2 black rads and 1 blue... thats not going to work...

Hmm. mister tape

With the help of mister tape and mister airbrush...

I have a white radiator!!! Just waiting on it to dry, so i can paint the side that was down, and so i can start the second rad.

By the way, this is the first time i've actually used my airbrush since i purchased it. O_o... What do you guys think?

Also, should i use the blue rad? or the black one for my top radiator. the fitting spacing is more correct on the blue one,but i would have to paint the fins, and it's thinner. I'm going to be cooling Gpu and CPU with this loop, and if i'm lucky i can get my 6950 fitted with my old 6850 block, as they have almost identical PCB's

I won't get time for pictures today (i'm working about 30 min after i finish class) but I started painting the fittings I have black to make them look extra nice (and to make them fit) and with the price of ram being so unbelievably low I might back stock my current 8gb of blue Gskill ram and pick up a single 8gb kit, with a 2nd coming after christmas, to get my desired white or black ram without having to remove the heat spreaders. My pics thus far are

Very Plain, but classy looking when plugged in, very much fits into the theme of the build (clean and quiet)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145315

Looks awesome, but kind of cheesy, good color and adds some texture
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231417

Also very clean and i love the mirrored top, but i'm not so sure about the green bits that aren't covered on the end.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226095

Speeds and ect don't matter a whole lot to me, i'm currently running 1333 and it works great for me. If theres a good price on 1600 i'll get it but i'm not planning on going out of the way.

Thoughts? I'm happy for any suggestions and for your patience. I also got a message from EK saying they sent out the top of my block, but I don't know how long it takes to get here from jolly old England. Although i'm almost as excited as when i bought some ram from someone in Australia. (totally spacing out, but you know who you are, foreign stamps are awesome. lol)

international shipping is usually 2-4 weeks depending on what it is.

also depends on the class of package, i'd guess about 2 weeks on a little tiny box with a water pump on it, assuming they don't bust some containers of drugs and delay your package for awhile.
