just saying.
Motherboards small enough to fit in properly are expensive.
The pumpkin would sog up very quickly, frying your expensive board.
Water-resisting would add to cost quickly.
LEDs are relatively cheap/

Pumpkin computer with some sort of sensor array that does things (Sounds, light arays, movemet?) when passer-bys come up to your porch for candy? Maybe even put it on the wireless network and set it up so you can remote in to it and control it.
It would have to be throw away hardware, and the pumpkin probably wouldn't last more than a week or so depending on climate.
Unless you were to somehow insulate it (grocery bag?), cut a hole in the back for wires and ventilation
Yes, though, if you WERE to do it, it would have to be worn-out, very old hardware.
Still, I wouldn't want my Socket 1 motherboard stuffed into a pumpkin, due to its extreme longevity.

Dude, you seriously need to dump your crap. You have nice stuff now!
I know.
I have full intentions of taking my broken/useless stuff to an electronics recycler (that doesn't charge ME for recycling!).
I did notice that Wikipedia is lacking a pic in Socket 1, so.....
Now, where did I stuff that IBM AT...? lol
(In all seriousness, there IS one in my grandma's storage somewhere....)

I made that candy corn thumb drive. That's close right?
Ok, it was a sucky mod, but it counts right? :lick:
Yes, in all seriousness, where is a good electronics recycler?
I've got some CRTs that I desperately need to recycle.
Thankfully, we have a local steel/aluminum/plastic recycler.
So, old cases aren't a problem.
