I'm trying to figure out my loops for my mod and its proving difficult. Should I do 1 loop or 2? I am cooling:

1 AMD CPU
RAM
1 GTX 460 with the possbility of a 2nd next year
2 HDD and will eventually be 10 total

I have 2 3x140mm RADs.

Right now I was thinking 2 loops. First one being the GPU and RAM and the second loop being the CPU and HDDs. But now I'm curious if one loop would be enough to cool everything. Oh and the case has 8x140mm fans, 1x120mm and 1x200mm fans.

Thoughts?

i would keep the HDD's on a separate loop, they need the cooling less than critical parts like the cpu, gpu, and the ram

What If I put the RAM with it since they don't get very hot?

I'd do 2, one for the HDDs (that way they won't absorb the heat from everything else) and one for everything else. I'm running 1 loop for my i7-960, 6870 and 6GB (3x2GB) kingston RAM and full load I'm seeing ~48ºC. Don't bother cooling the HDDs with anything else, they'll just heat up. I used to have my HDD in a block, in a loop with only the CPU, and found it ran much hotter in the waterblock than it did just free air.

ok good deal. I'll work on 2 loops tonight.
