here is another question i have about my case mod,ok my case will be black and i will be using a thin red material on one side and green material on the other,(bf2 and bf2 sf)my problem will be lighting behind the material so the red and green glow.the red side will be fine because its on the left side of case but the green will be on mobo side and there isnt enough room between mobo panel and case panel for a cold cathode so what be the best solution for that side its only about a 1/2 inch space.i thought about leds but the way it disperses light i dont think it would look right.any suggestions would be appreciated.Thank You

Hey! You can't be called Dave, i'm called Dave!
Try super bright LED's. Or if that doesn't float yer boat what about EL Wire?
Failing that, you can get strip led's as well.

I would recommend either strip LED's or LED backlights for LCD's. The backlights come in a rectangular package, and are fantastically even in light dispersion across their surface. Not only that, but the surplus dealers tend to have them in massive quantities at low prices (i.e. this (http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G14880) fabulous little piece for two bucks from Electronics Goldmine 6 3/8" x 7/8", yellow/green, 4VDC) and they are usually driven by far less than 12V.
