I'm looking for a precision screwdriver set, but i don't wanna get the same one i've been buying and stripping for the past few years. Here's what i'm looking for

I want 1 handle, with the spinning knob on top, and a magnetic interchangeable socket. multiple bits, ranging down to #000 in phillips at least. I want it to be good quality, not cheap just like i've been buying.

I have one with interchangeable bits, but it's got a stupid slide out extension, and isn't magnetic. Thanks for the help guys...

Edit:

Like this, without the extending handle, and with a magnet

sounds like a job for tungsten, I'd check out dura bits from Wiha, they come in diamond and titanium as well.

http://www.wihatools.com/700seri/700_DuraBit.htm

They've got a grand selection of ultra quality drivers as well.

(order a catalog, its worth it and its free to see the whole selection of tooling they have)

item "No. 66850" is probably right up your alley, Narrow tapered shaft "strong" magnetic driver with bearing rotating cap with reduced diameter socket.

I'd also check out there micro bits, Made from hardened CRM72 Modified tool steel (that's the best btw)

http://www.wihatools.com/700seri/751serie.htm

might be 2 or 3$ a pop for one bit.... but how many of them cheap sets you say you've went through? that bit WILL last a life time lol.

(don't forget the 4mm adapter if you get the standard size driver, they've got uber class micro drivers as well btw)

no problem, they really are great tools, majorbud uses Wiha tooling at his work.

I haven't ever used or seen the tungsten bits in person, but hes got a few of those diamond covered bits and you really can cut glass with the edge of a diamond #00 flat head like they say.

SNAP-ON also has some sweet drivers n' micro drivers, but there bits are sorta on the s@#t side of things.

Awesome brands to look at are...

Wiha
Wera
Bondhus

If you are busting what you use now, you need a good non-china tool. Also keep in mind that screwdrivers in general are consumables. Sad truth.

I've heard Snap-on driver bits called a lot of things. Including expensive, and hard to get, but never s@#t. I better let the US Military know they need to find a new supplier.

They make awesome wrenches and sockets and those types of drivers and ratchets for automotive and mechanical maintenance and crap.

but not "computer" screw drivers, they are almost duplicates of the chin-chang micro drivers you can get 10 for 7.99$ at sams wholesale tools lol except for a slightly fancier handle, but the tooling steel seems weak compared with the stuff that Wiha uses for its microdrivers.
