I've seen some killer TV deals, but they are limited quanitity and people camp out starting Wednesday night to get those deals. That's crazy.

Newegg has a 6950 2Gb model for $230. It's not a really killer deal. I see it for that often, but I'm in the market and it's a pretty decent deal. I'll be getting that unless I can find something better.

My wife and I will go to Kohls and do a little clothed shopping for fun. We're also going to get some fiestaware online. We can get two five piece sets shipped for $42. We got six last year so this will get us up to 8 place settings which is nice. It's a pretty cheap way to go for really high quality stuff.

We're also going to go to ToysRUs and get a crib and changing table set on the cheap. The deal isn't the best ever, but we'll go and buy for the fun of it.

No black fridays here :(
Australian retailers are tight asses and wonder why so many Australians shop online instead of going into an overpriced store.

If anybody doesn't already get them. I can send friends and family discounts when they send them to me. It's somewhat random but is usually an extra 15% to 20% off the tag price.

I know it won't help today but for future outings. lol Just throw me a PM with an email you want it sent to or if you want more info.

This isn't spam. I promise. :D Just lookin to help others. Sorry if this wasn't allowed.

So, my wife and I went out and spent more than I would have liked. She bought like . . . $170-ish in maternity clothes. I bought a 2Gb 6950 from ebay with unlocked shaders for $240. It was pretty cheap really and new other than being unlocked and tested.

We also got a stroller car seat combo for $200 after tax and everything. It was by no means a deal but my wife loved it and some online searching and paying attention to kids.woot for over a month proved either things we didn't want or not very good deals, so we got it.

All in all it was a somewhat expensive day, but I'll post pics of my computer setup in December after school is out.

I started getting a vibe here that Danny might be a father soon! So acting on that I scanned the forums for any more posts and I don't know how I missed it in the Secret Santa thread... BUT...

CONGRATULATIONS!!

with 55hrs, lol they flagged it. lol not bad just a tsk tsk, lol

I had a company do that to me once, i started walking out the door at exactly the end of shift. and when they bitched i just said " well if you don't pay me for the hours i've worked, then i won't work those extra hours or even minutes and its time that i go home"

see the job i worked, we had to wait for the next person to show up before we could leave, well it only took three or four days of me leaving before the next person showed up before they decided to start paying me my over time.

turns out it's actually a 13,000$ fine for every hour they didn't pay me of overtime!

So far I have bought myself: A LG blu-ray burner drive, a D-Link Wireless-N router, 6 blu-ray movies (Sucker Punch, Man on Fire, Sin City, Inception, Megamind and Despicable Me for the kiddo).

Still on the list: I want to get a gaming mouse, was hoping they would put a good price on the RAT 7 albino but they didnt so I have been looking at the logitech g500 that newegg has for 34.99. I also want to get a SSD but I keep talking myself out of it lol.

That mouse is terrible man, Mine lasted a whoopin 6 months of normal use. then one day suddenly it stopped working.

traded it in, 4 months on the next one after that.

pretty sad when a 10$ optical mouse out lasts 200$ in other mice, personally i'm done with logitech after the three dead mice and one messed up keyboard (still using it though despite the techno flashing lights)

i'm not sure what i do, because its not like i beat up my periphials or spill liquids on them constantly. they just s@#t the brick randomly so i assume its just bad luck or a bad company.

i'd probably hold out for the RAT mouse honestly.

Got a free Labtec Optical PS/2 mouse.

10 years old, from the sounds of it.

Most comfortable 3-button mouse I have EVAR had!

Thanks for the congratulations guys. It's our first so I'm fairly excited. I'll probably get much more nervous when it's nearly due, and . . . well, I don't know when the terror will peak.

The rat7 looks like a really good mouse. I would hold out for a killer deal on it.

Yikes, I've always had excellent luck with Logitech personally. :/ sorry to hear that. And thanks for the advice guys, I probably will just wait for the RAT. it fits my (stalled due to weather) mod really well.

My honest opinion of the rat. (coming from a razer diamond back 3g, and my current razer deathadder) It's too flat and long, it feels like you have to stretch out your fingers to hold the mouse properly. Disclaimer, My roomate loves it (it's his mouse) and the sniper button actually helps with bf3 if you aren't used to high dpi (my roommate came from a 360).

hey! that's some bad luck... i have a g15 Logitech keyboard, i spilled some punch soda and other stuff on it/in it, and it still works, just need to pull a few parts apart to clean... :whistler: they make solid stuff in my experience... :D

yea thats what i don't get.

I suspect my four year old, but shes got her own laptop mini mouse that fits her hand fine and thats what she uses.

My logitech momo wheel works flawlessly, and so does my 10$ optical mouse which i'm assuming is a logitech even though dell is sprayed across the top.

But i mean there are 2,420,000 hits for "Broken logitech mouse" on google.

and 1,570,000 hits for "My logitech mouse not working"

So i'm not the only one here.
