So I think I'm going to get a few of these switches to turn on and off my door LEDs.

How would I do that? They are 12v LEDs.

Those a momentary, you'd need a microcontroller or maybe even a relay to convert it to an on/off switch. I can't tell you specifically how because I don't know. I just know it won't turn them on/off like you want.

No, the one I linked is "Latching".

just wire it up in series. or in other words, wire power to the leds/resistors, then from the led negative side to the switch, then from the switch to ground.

Series will make the led turn off when the switch is off though. The description says that the switch is designed to be lit all the time, where you would wire the + and - terminals with the led voltage. I believe that it should be wired so that the terminal labelled C gets the ground, NO gets the voltage and NC can be another ground. I may be wrong on this so it might be good to get someone to confirm it but I'm pretty sure that's how it should be. The wiring diagram is the fourth picture in the link for anyone who would like to confirm if I'm right.
Switch LED power and switch mechanism are two completely different circuits.
Simply put :P

There are 2 methods to wiring this switch for your LEDs, in your application it doesn't matter which terminal is positive. C is the common between the NO and the NC. So when the button is pulled out C and NC are connected together then when the button is pushed the NO and the C are connected together. All you need to do is bring the positive to the C, then run from the NO to the positive on your LEDs. I use the C as positive because I can use the NC for something else, for example the button is pulled out you can activate another LED (the ring on the button) to show it's off and when it's pushed in the ring is off.

When I built Onyx I wanted the LED on the switch to be on all the time regardless, so I wired it to a wall wart and plugged it in direct.
