Well, normally it's about $2/GB for SSDs. This one is almost $1/GB.....

i have a older ssd, and its worth it for the older one. and its not even 200/200 r/w. that has an impressive 550/515 r/w.... and, not to mention that is extremely cheap for that size, i only have a 60. :(

Price just went up. Guess that answers that. (although the Vertex 3 is now 169 with a 20 MIR... hmm...)

I seen some 20/40GB's floating around that were ridiculously cheap but the read write looked like it was on the suck side of things so i dont think its any fantastic deal overall.
man... I remember when 3GB HDD's we're like 1,500$ looking at them at the computer store as a kid and going..... man wish i didn't have to use a billion floppy disks just to play AV/8B

think it was 1 floppy to load DOS, another two to load windows 3.1
and then 8 floppies to load the whole game which took a good 15 minutes.... whats that total like 13MB?

I remember having a Tandy 1000 with NO hard drive... just two floppy drives. lol.
