I'm using Sketchup to repaint a Level 10 GT case. I downloaded the file here:

Problem is, it won't let me reapaint the case. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It's been made into a component. You can either use the Make Unique commands or the Edit component command, both I believe found in the Edit dropdown.

What Kayin siad. Right Click > Edit Component. You can also double click on a component and double click on another that may be inside that component.

In addition to what's been said already, if you need to change the colour of the mesh in the model, the easiest way to do it is to edit the material. In the Materials list, choose the option In Build from the drop down. Once you select the mesh, use the edit tab and the colour picker to change the colour. This will change the colour of all the mesh in the model so if you just want to change some make a duplicate first and use that.
That's a pretty nicely detailed model, can't wait to see what you're up to!

I was about to say that not all parts are components and able to be modified. I'll try that too ^

If there's a specific part you can't get changed, post us an image of it and we'll get you sorted out.

The problem I'm having now is that I can't "Push or Pull curved or smooth surfaces"

Try "Explode curve" or something like that. It's been a while, sorry. :/
