I have a decent low voltage i7 920 (lapped) oem/style cpu (batch #3931A324) that will overclock better than many 920/930/950's.

I would be willing to let it go for $150-shipped.

Regards,

-PolRoger

Here is screenshot of the cpu with its current daily o.c. running (WCG 8-threads @ load):

Here is a brief LinX screenshot of the cpu running a higher overclock when first testing my Rampage III Gene:

That's in my range but the warranty is gone... I will have to think about it.

Yes... lapping voids the warranty but that is how I bought it... and it has been a nice performing chip for me.

Let me know... if you should decide that you are interested.

Thanks,

-Pol

Good deal or what?

No idea who he is, but the 920 with the d0 stepping was the heartthrob of the 1366 overclocking scene

I meant the price and the fact that it is lapped.

Still a yes by me, so long as the lapping is good

Yeah, I would ask for a picture of the top of the processor.

Not CRUD, but not mirror finish, either.

Tell him the lap is iffy and you might have to repair it, then see if he drops

He says thats how he got it when he bought it from another user. I guess I'll pass.
