I'd like to create this thread to remember one of the greatest video cards i've ever came across.. the eVGA 8800GTS Super Super Clock 640MB Edition.

With 112 Cores it was ahead of its time, its generation of cards.

it's 640MB 320bit memory never failing to handle what ever resolutions I handed it.

But today it was Struck down... STRUCK DAAAOOOWWN befoah it's time!!1

and we WILL remember you 8800GTS.. You we're like a GTX to me.

however eVGA approved my RMA for it. so i'll see you later in exhange for something better, or another one of your friends

Sad day for the gfx card world. lol

I do agree, I bought another (not superclocked) one just to help kick the games I play in the pants. It is a good card even today.

I have a 9800GTX+, although about to get an upgrade to a GTX560Ti :D

If I had gotten an AMD based system when I was looking at building my computer, I would have gotten one of those cards!

Replaced my 9800GTX+ earlier this year (due to competition win). It was still going strong at 2048*1152. To think that a PC bought four years ago - Q6600+8800GTX SLI - could still keep up in most normal tasks with mid-high end PCs today is staggering. That was quite the time to be in the market for PC hardware.

Holy crap, someone else that runs that oddball resolution! I knew they existed, I knew it. :D

A generation later, but I've had a similar experience with my GTX260 SSC. Still going like a champ and still able to handle anything I throw at it at max settings.
