in my limited server experience I'd say it's worth the $300. Others may know better though (Kayin, Airbozo)

Not bad. It's essentially a Q9550. All the parts add up to more than the $300. But it depends on what you want to do with it. I have enough similar rigs that it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for me to get it, even with it being worth a bit more than that. But if you need a rig like that, then it seems to be a good deal.
