I'm finally moving out of home!

Things are currently stressful as the last piece of the puzzle to ensure my girlfriend and I are moving out, which means there is less stress in the moving part, is still being processed. Although I should be finding out either today or tomorrow hopefully.

But photos will come as soon as we get the keys :D

I moved out of home back in June. Wished I had done it earlier. Is so good to get out from under my parents shadow. I miss having servants to wash my clothes though :(.

I don't know about Melbourne? but the rental market in Sydney is pretty brutal but we managed to find a 3 bedroom place at a awesome rate.

Well, we're getting a 1 bedroom unit for 250pw, but it's pretty spacious. Going to be surviving on government payments until I finish my course and start a job, hopefully I can get a part time job at uni.

I've been wanting to move out for 7 years because of the problems at home affecting my mental health and the situation is getting worse every year.

I'll get more photos when it's all set up, should be doing the final move next week depending on when the bed arrives and when we get our fridge (I have to clean up my old room to remove my desk so it can be taken to the new place). I also need to move a whole bunch of equipment to the new place.

I haven't been working on projects lately, and I'll may disappear for a few more days. Electricity was finally connected last Thursday and I haven't signed up for internet yet (waiting until I get my next payment before I do), but I will have an internet connection (I'm signing up to a wired connection, I have 2 available wireless broadband connections) that I'll be using while I wait.

But I should have some project progress in the next few weeks or so (I actually have all of the project stuff next to me). Organising this has taken more time than I thought it would and I've been playing games to help me relax (I stopped playing games a couple of months ago).

Oh, I also got a new GPU for Christmas!

Gainward 1GB GTX560Ti (Not the new edition Ti with 448 cores) non-overclocked. I think the 2nd slowest component in my computer now is my CPU xD; (The first is my HDD)

We finished cleaning the kitchen area today and washed up all of the plates, cups, saucepans, etc that we have currently (more is coming soon enough) so now it's fairly easy to get stuff for lunch. We also had our first cooked lunch there (since nothing was clean the other day, so we had microwaved meals) today which was nice and sort of exciting. Although the stove is sort of crap. One of the elements doesn't heat up which is a major problem for us, and the oven is in Fahrenheit (Australia uses Celsius) which isn't such an issue since I can do the conversions fairly easy.

Well, setting up the new house is going well, we got a fridge here last Saturday (in the back of a covered ute, waited until Monday morning to turn it on) and I got my desk last night and currently using it with my desktop instead of using the kitchen table.

Got a lot more to do at my parent's place before I've 'completely' moved out of home, but the majority of the needed stuff is here! I have a little more furniture to come (just a filing cabinet) but I also need to get a bed side table (cardboard boxes on top of objects works for only so long) and we're looking at getting another bookcase although larger than the one we do have. Also need to look at getting some outdoor furniture so that I can work outside when it's not raining (although it's been very hot of late).
