Xbox 360 Slim Case Mod

Hey guys. So I haven't done a case mod in a while, the girlfriend and work have kept me busy. But I dropped about $300 bucks last week on some tools because I wanted to get back into the swing of things. So here is my Xbox 360 Slim Mod!

Some of you may know me by my first hack job of a mod, the Xbox 360 PC.

It was my first case mod, so I was very proud of it, but I look back at it now and say 'ewwwwww'. But you gotta start somewhere right?

The Di-Noc is not going to go over the thin vent hole brackets, and I didn't want a glossy finish, so I just took some high grit sand paper and buffed it a bit to give it a matte looking finish.

Was originally going to replace the OEM fan with this stock core i7 cooler i had lying around, but decided I wanted to have a LED fan instead. Unfortunately when testing voltages and speeds with the stock xbox fan, I fried it, so I have to buy a new fan anyways.

Haven't decided what I want to do with this yet, But I want to cut a design in the HDD enclosure. Was thinking a pokeball looking thing, or just a smiley face, hell I was even thinking a penis. We'll see i guess.

That came out really nice man! I like the HDD cover concept but not crazy about the orange. Are you going to cover the wires behind the optical drive with anything? Also, I love the 70's film burn photos!

You know after I painted it, I was kind of like 'men' on the orange as well..but I'm hoping when I get the di-noc on and eliminate the chrome, it won't clash as much. If I still end up not liking it, might paint it purple to match the cd drive.

And yeah I want to sleeve those wires eventually. Those don't accent the case very well lol.
