Hi I just had to come in here and report you clan member, I was in a server with him the other night and the racial remarks that he was saying was disgusting and not needed it went on the whole round from start to finish if he is representing your clan or community then you really need to have a serious word with him I am sorry for coming on here to say this but it had to be said he will most likely deny it but he knows and I know along with the other people in that server knows what he said.

i know this guy, and as much i would like to believe you, i don't. maybe one of his friends was on his pc, i don't know, but he would NEVER do that. i know him, as stated before. he is a great guy, sooo.... yeah... :whistler:

I've played with him, and have met him in person, and have yet to see anything like that spew out of his fingertips. But, even if he did, what are we supposed to do? Say, "SXR, you shouldn't be modding computers any more because you were quite rude in a video game the other day"? Lmfao.

I'm not going to say that it isn't possible. People can be pretty nasty when gaming since there are fewer repercussions than say being a jerk on an internet forum.

At the same time, I could see Mav63 as just trying to get revenge for getting owned, or getting revenge because he was actually the really racist one and sxrGUYINma got him in trouble in some other clan or whatever.

At first I thought it was just a cleverly programmed bot. I mean, go and find a name on the forum list of someone who was on recently and then post a comment about how some fictional bad thing they did and then link to your own website, like this:

To Mav63: Sorry to hear about that. It's a poor reflection on this community if someone from here is not representing us well. We aren't really a gaming community and we don't have any official clans. We do, however, love computers and computer modding. Welcome to the site. I hope you can find lots of good reasons to stay. Hopefully you can get some reassurance, restitution, or at least an apology.

To sxrGUYINma: Say what you need to say, but don't lie. If you were being rude and racist and awful while gaming online, then own up and say it now. Apologize and be better from now on. I know it's easy to get caught up in games but you need to be an example. You are representing TBCS. This person cares enough about what happened to come looking for some restitution. Give your explanation. Defend yourself. Justify yourself. But after you say what you need to say, apologize, even if you don't think you were in the wrong, even if he's a troll, even if he's your brother playing a joke on you. Reassure us all here at TBCS that you're the good person we know you are and maybe we'll get a nice new addition to the community.

I did try to logon after reading this thread and couldn't as my password has been changed. With that being said a complaint has been filed and made known to Origin that my account has been compromised, and I've changed my password and email address associated with my Origin account. I'm sure anyone here on TBCS can vouch that I'm not that kind of person. I'm sorry for whatever inconvenience my hacked account has caused you. :D

Luckily this seems to be the worst of what happened to my account. Be assured that from now on if I come across your name it will actually be ME, and nothing racial or disgusting will be seen from me. And WHY would I do something like that when my gamertag is the same and my TBCS name where I'm a journalist no less? That would make zero sense because as you said I'm representing TBCS and our members. It's not something I take lightly. I see a lot of crap being said by a lot of people in BF3 and trust me I talk trash once in a while as well (it makes the game more fun) but getting into racial stuff IS NOT me at all. Thanks for bringing this to my attention though Mav, I appreciate it.

Oh and everyone welcome mAV36 to the forums :whistler: :D I hope to play with you in the future Mav, feel free to add me. You'll see who I truly am. Just for reference though...was whoever was on my account at least any good? lol

I just don't see what posting was supposed to accomplish. It sucks if it did happen, but what are any of us supposed to do about it? Shun him?

Either way, whether he did or didn't do it, it has nothing to do with me and wouldn't affect me unless I was in that game and understood the entire set of circumstances around it. I'm probably the biggest prude when it comes to online gaming and can't deal with any of that, to the point where I've taped paper over the monitors chatbox ingame. In the end, if someone is on your server and breaks the rules, then kick him/her and move on. Hunting their username down to shame them on the internet just seems so. . . childish, I suppose.

EDIT: And Holy run-on sentence in the OP, Batman! I can see how people would wonder if it was a bot.

Sorry to hear about the hacked account. That really sucks. It sounds like you got it back already? I never thought that you would have done that and it's good to hear that it's not true.
