Just want to say hi to you all. Im a newbie to case modding but thought I might as well getting into it since im getting deeper into computers than I ever thought I would. Thanks ^_^.
Let me be the first to welcome you to TBCS forums. There's a lot of talent lurking around here and most of us are friendly. I have found it best to come up with an idea, then start planning for tools, materials, etc etc that you need. No need to buy a tool you might never use.
If you have a simple question, it might have already been answered so please search the forum for your question before asking again.
I think that's about it for an introduction.

I'm not, I eat noobs for breakfast!
Nah, i'm just joking. Welcome to the Forums! Everyone's pretty friendly, and also pretty defensive, so the unwritten rule is play nice or you don't get to play ;) But i guess i've written it now.

Yeah, absolutely, welcome to the forums.
Where to start? The best thing would probably be just get comfortable and start reading. There's a ton of great stuff on these forums. Look through worklogs, see what interests you, see what you think looks possible, then kind of plan out what you might like. Go dig through the Idea Zone to see some great ideas others have. Don't worry about ripping off other people's ideas - another unwritten law of the forums is that if you're concerned about keeping your ideas private, don't post them on a public forum in the first place.
If you do decide to try some of this stuff, figure out what is appropriate for your skill level and dig in. Get a couple tools, make some room and have fun. But don't forget the most important unwritten rule - post pictures and a worklog, so that others can learn from your triumphs and your mistakes.
As I said, welcome to TBCS, and I hope you enjoy your stay. :D
