I need a cheap but known good S775 CPU. I have a mobo here and IDK if it is any good. I only have the CPU that came with it. The system will not post and I check everything but the CPU.

Please let me know if you have one to sell or borrow. I'll pay all the shipping.

EDIT: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5N32SLI_Deluxe/#specifications that is the mobo. CPU has to be compatible with that.

I might have a Pentium D processor and an older celeron kickin somewhere, I'll check and get back to you.

OK, I have a Pentium D 805 Dual Core, 2.66Ghz, Socket 775 Processor...Intel's page here:

Intel Pentium D 805 (http://ark.intel.com/products/27511/Intel-Pentium-D-Processor-805-(2M-Cache-2_66-GHz-533-MHz-FSB))

Its compatible with the MB you linked above.

Thanks.

Well from my experience, it's not too bad to ship to Canada from USA, dunno from where you are though

Its not bad as long as I dont declare what's in the pkg :D Should be about $10 or less for first class (air) mail for that weight to most destinations.

Thanks guys. As I said I'm looking for the absolutely cheapest proc that is known good. This is pretty much just to troubleshoot the mobo I have here.

Sorry, all my 775 procs are in use. A buddy had the same issues and asked, but I did have a brand new 775 mobo in a drawer that I have no idea where it came from. If you come up with a decent spare I may be interested to get it going.
