my idea/questions

First off, im not planning on doing anything too extreme.

I have decided to mod a shuttle or biostar, i will be going to college about 2 hours away from my house and plan on coming back almost every weekend so i am pretty dead set on a shuttle or biostar.

I would like to paint it, add a window, a handle, 2 cold cathodes, and a small lcd thermometer. I am planning on running a Radeon X1800GTO video card.

I have a few questions.

Does anyone know if the x1800GTO will fit?

Will the PSU have enough power to power the 2 possibly 4 cold cathodes? (its only 250w)

Where can i buy a small 2 digit lcd themometer?

Eek. 250W isn't very much. I would consider finding a PSU that is the same size that puts out more power. I'm not sure on the form factor of the PSUs in shuttles, but I do know that there are server 1U PSUs that go up to 400W. Yeah, so that's all for now I guess. Good luck on this project.

i wouldn't recomend it, even if you can get the graphics card to fit, the power the 1800 asks for is NUTS, you will need an external power supply.

im really wanting/needing to go small. Has anyone had any experience with the ASUS T2 case, its still pretty small but it looks like i could replace the power supply with a bigger one.
