360 Controller + PC

Okay, I can't for the life of me figure out how to play Bastion on my PC with my 360 controller. Whenever I go to the options and select gamepad it says not detected. I've installed the MS drivers from their website and it even auto-installed when I plugged it in. So. I don't know why it won't work. Whenever I turn the controller on it just flashes. :/

Wired or wireless with Play and Charge kit?

If P&C kit, you need a wireless receiver.

It's a wireless controller with the cable. I plugged it in and it auto-installed, so, yeah... I even tried a 3rd party program and it still wouldn't detect the controller.

Try using Joy2Key to map the controls to the keyboard commands.

you'll have to get the wireless adapter, it's not capable of using the charge kit. amev is correct.

Yeah I found out the same thing. I wanted to use a 360 controller for DC universe. I just went to the local used games store and found a wired controller for like $20.
