Fox did what they do best once again, they cancelled Terra Nova. Why? Because it was profitable, as stated by the President of Fox Networks. Wait, what? That doesn't make any sense.... ohhh.... they're trying to sell it now to another network.
I legitimately hate Fox. And EA. Both of them. They have all the money in the world, but only ever choose to use it to maximize profits even further because they simply don't care about anything else. How messed up is that? Everything is about money and nothing else these days and it seems to be only getting worse. It's pretty sad and super frustrating.
Hopefully someone will buy it. Netflix was thinking about it, but passed. Big shocker there. Maybe they could afford it if they stopped making stupid decisions...
I wouldn't mind seeing NBC pick it up, or maybe ABC or CBS. Though knowing Fox... I doubt anyone can afford it. What do they care if it never sells? Everything to gain, nothing to lose.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show even with its mediocre cg at best. It was a decent show.
Instead of using it to make a long term profit, lets see who bites, sell for a stupid amount and call it done.

that's why you need to head to AMC and watch shows FAR better like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Hell on Wheels, Seinfeld, Big Bang theory and so on.

I have been watching the walking dead and seinfeld every so often. Most of the shows I do watch are at the end of seasons so its just reruns right now, lol

Damnit.. I only follow about 3 shows.. and that was one of them that I was really looking forward to. It was really going to get interesting. One of the others is the Walking Dead. I got in on it real late as in a month or so ago. I ended up going on a Marathon and caught up just about the time the season ended. :(

There were even many people who sent in plastic dinosaurs and rallied together to make it clear that it was a much wanted show, on top of it being profitable.
Fox... is a pretty terrible company. I think I'm just going to no longer watch any of their shows, it's not like there isn't a huge variety of other stuff to watch.
HBO is pretty awesome at that kind of stuff. Game of Thrones, Spartacus, Rome, etc. Top quality production right there.

why do they do it? it's because they are a business. and just like any business, profit is important... that being said, profit without pissing off your customer base is even more important. i will only buy things from ea i really badly want now, as i hate origin, hate their customer service, and hate how they do business in general... fox is retarded. just my opinion... at least they continued simpsons for one more season, but its headed for the chopping block soon too.

so many of the best shows have fallen victim to the networks politics. sux, thank god for the interwebs,
i wish we could start our own network and air all of our favorite cancelled shows on it.. just sayin...

And the way they ended it. Grrr. I can barely stomach tv anymore. I have some show that are DVR'd becasue of work. Castle, Hawaii 5-0, both NCIS's, all 3 CSIs, Sanctuary, Both Ghost Hunter series, Supernatural, Body of Proof and I'll be watching the final season of Eureka, antoher good show killed off. I usually catch up with my week on Saturday and Sunday. Don't watch much else out there.

Oi, Stargate. Once I realized that my (or more accurately, my provider's) DVR box intermittently makes things disappear because the mothership's license expires or something ... I obtained DVD collections (or downloaded episodes) of those programs I want to enjoy ... on my own schedule, offline, and without any commercials. I'll admit people are weirded out that my living room has a lotta space and no bigscreen TV altar as a centerpiece. Free yourselves from the shackles of television!
