Looking for an AMD FX-8120 for less than the $189 retail. If anyone sees a deal somewhere please let me know. I want to use it in my folding rig.

boo. I just decided today that I was going to replace mine since it will probably go into a build for my wife's cousin.

I just got my new FX-8120 machine working an hour or so ago and the PPD I'm getting at stock speeds is surprisingly low - I don't have a decent cooling solution in place yet so not messing with o/c but my first estimated PPD is below 8k - maybe this will improve with some units thru the machine but I was hoping for more - that's only getting 1/3 of the PPD that I was getting out of a 2600k (admittedly o/c to 4.0Ghz)

I saw some closed threads on HardForums where they sold for around $125 which is what I'm happy to spend.

SOC check this thread out on PPD for the 8120: http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=696914

The PPD varies a lot depending on what project your doing. Also a little OC gives it a decent boost.
