Secret unveiling images

First thing that came to mind was XFX's "under construction" page while they were working on their www.xfxsecretweapon.com/ site.

The next example was your typical mystery pictures car manufacturers use before launching their new/redesigned models.

I'd really like to see XFX's under construction page again but since that's unlikely, can anyone think of other examples of this style of imagery?

I lit this smoke in the same way. Light source on the right (a flash remotely triggered by my camera). If I would have closed the aperture a little bit, the effect would have been very similar.
