I recently acquired for free 36 500GB Western Digital EIDE hard drives.
I was thinking about setting up a RAID 5 with these drives and turning them into a NAS. Looking on the web, I am not finding much in the way of RAID controllers to handle this many drives. And the ones I have been finding have been either expensive on shipping or the base price of the unit.
I have also thought about getting 4 of these and doing a custom built case:

But my question to you all is, will it be worth the time and money to set one up with EIDE drives, or should I just try and sell these drives to someone on e-bay?
