How long is the PS3 Controller Cable?
So I'm about to buy the PS3, but I had a question, how long exactly is the PS3 Controller Cable?
And while searching on the internet I found several things about charging the Controller. Is this then putting new batteries in it? What exactly does it mean?

The battery in the PS3 controller is a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The battery gets charged by connecting the controller to the PS3 by a mini usb to usb cable. The stock cable is only about 5 feet long, but you can replace the cable with a longer one if you want to play while charging.
