Hey all. My current mod is just painting a Mickeysoft mouse. But I can't decide what color to use. My choices are: Primer, Ford Blue, Brass or somehow mix them.

Here is the mouse disassembled and primered.

Test fit of the pieces.

Ford Blue paint. (It's engine block paint:rolleyes:)

might help if instead of showing us the cans you showed us what the paint looked like on a test piece.
Metals can look good or REALLY bad.
Might help too if you told us about the machine it was going with. What color is it?

Well the mouse isn't going with a machine. I just wanted to take up others' opinion to see. I know it might be the wrong type of paint, but it's what I have right now.

I'm gonna wait a few more days till the poll ends. Suggestions on painting are welcome! Oh and the scroll wheel will be black...

The brass buttons sound good, but would a fingerprint size brass circle look good?

well try is on a piece of scrap. Anther thing you can do is fade them.

You spray you main colour, blue. Super thin. You need to warm up the bottle so then paint is thined out. Then spray the other brass paint while the blue paint is wet. If there same type of paint should work. Or you might have chemicel re-action.

Try this on a scrap frist.

I haven't had a chance to paint cuz of the weather. So it's on hold. Meanwhile I'm working on another mouse. It seams to be working out good...

Dazza: I'll persuade my dad to buy some more paint. ;D
