how would i install a lcd in a side panel.

i have this idea to build a computer with a lcd out of a laptop installed in the side panel. i was wondering how i would hook it up. i don't know how it would plug into it. i've seen it before. i'll post pics of the lcd and all of its connectors if nessisary.
