My first attempt at etching plexi

It's a little rough, but not bad. The image is the Sergeant Insignia for the Marine Corps. Let me know what you all think.

Yes, eventually, this will be a whole theme. I served in the Corps from 1994-2000, so this is the easiest theme for me to do, idea-wise. I've been lurking here for a while, and decided it was time for me to try something. I got the plexi (28" x 36") for $2. I'm poor, so I'll be spending as little as possible. Worklog will follow when I kick things off.

Is the case gonna have laser sights and a camo paint scheme? :p

Not 100% sure on a paint scheme yet. Maybe something scarlet and gold, with the top mimmicking the blues trousers with a blood stripe, which is only worn by NCO's and Officers. More info on the blood stripe here: https://wrc.navair-rdte.navy.mil/warfighter_enc/History/dyk/1stpage/blstripe.htm

For a window I'm thinking either an outline of the Eagle, Globe and Anchor, or possibly the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi. We'll see. This is going to be very slow go since funds are extremely limited. Any sponsors? lol
