If you don't know the name, you at least know his work. Yeah, it's THE guy who started the whole TrueFire craze. We have him for an interview tonight at 8:00 PM PST. If you're free, drop by. Mike will be taking questions live.

"True fire" is airbrushing realistic looking flames instead of the more traditional looking hot rod flames.

Mike Lavalle was one of the if not THE one that pioneered the technique. I first saw him on a show called Overhaulin'.

Might have to have some trufire on my sportster when I rebuild it...

That was pretty damn AWESOME. I have been a big fan of Lavallee's work and it was just killer to listen to his stories! Thanks again Rick for sharing!

That's possibly the understatement of the year! Lol. It was awesome chatting with him. He stayed 2 1/2 hours, when he was only scheduled for 1. Really down to earth kind of guy.
