8 pack?

maybe ive just isolated myself for too long, but last time i checked, the 6 pack of soda was a common thing. i went into an AM/PM type mini mart today, and i found, to my suprise, no 6-packs of mountain dew in sight, instead there were just these 8-packs. i asked the guy behind the counter how long they had been selling 8 packs, and he didnt know. can anyone enlighten me as to when this change happened?:?

i would tell you, but i don't buy that sort of drink, i normally either get a leter of milkshake, 2L of coke or 4 bottles of guninnes.

LOL i donno, but over here in the UK they sell cans of coke in boxes called "fridge packs" with a hole cut out so the next can moves to the front as you take one, they charge twice as much for em aswell.

If you ask me thats just for lazy people.

You can still get six packs over here though.

You should be able to get 6 packs at your local grocery store. It happened around the same time that 1 liters and 20 oz sodas became the same price.

actually, i think the 8 pack is the same price as a 6 pack used to be, at least its pretty close, so im certainly not complaning about the price, i was just suprised when the store didnt actually carry 6 packs of dew.

I've seen soda companies selling 8oz. instead of 12oz. cans in the supermarket. Its marketing to stupid people or something.

nope, theyre regular cans. theres just 8 of them. as for carbs, all i can say is, "gimme!" i wont have to worry about dieting for at least another 5 to 10 years hopefully. but now that i say that ill prolly start gaining weight within a month. go figure.

I dont know about soda which i should because i drink at least 4 litres of it a day. But 8-packs of beer have been around for years
