So let me get this straight...

iPhone 5:
Screen Size = 4 Inches, 326 PPI
Processor = 1.3Ghz Dual Core
Dimensions = 4.87" x 2.31" x 0.30"
Weight = 3.95 Ounces
Battery Life = Talk Time 8 Hours, Video Playback 10 Hours

DRM HD:
Screen Size = 4.7 Inches, 312 PPI
Processor = 1.5Ghz Dual Core
Dimensions = 5.19" x 2.67" x 0.37"
Weight = 5.54 Ounces
Battery Life = Talk Time 21 Hours, Video Playback 13 Hours

I knew the iPhone was and has always been (except in the beginning) behind the times, but this is laughable now. How on earth does the DRM HD get so much more battery life when the only real difference is that it has higher power demands?? lol

I'm trying to figure out which one to get right now. The iPhone 5 is unlocked through Verizon so I can use it overseas but the Razor is pretty damn nice.

As far as I can see by looking on the Verizon Wireless website, all of the Razr models, including the Maxx, are global ready.

The Maxx HD also supports a "reinforced case", basically meaning the build quality is a bit tougher than normal. I'm not sure how worthy that is to mention, but thought I'd throw it out there anyways.

I'd go with the Maxx HD any day. I see no reason to stay with Apple at this point.

Paid apps is probably the only reason you'd stay in the Apple ecosystem possibly. As for why the talk time is so different, I'd look into the battery size/capacity ;D

Yeah but that's my point. The iPhone 5 JUST came out and the dimensions are not too different than the entire Droid Razr line of phones, yet those phones have been out for awhile now and they all get better battery life. So its kind of like.. what? Did Apple miss the memo on the new battery technology out there, or does that 0.07th of an inch make all the difference? Because that would be pretty dumb. lol
