Internet Lag Issues. -_-

I have Comcast Cable with 30mbps. My wireless router is a Netgear N300.

It's just my roommate and I who live here and we only seem to experience lag when we are both doing internet intensive things at the same time, such as online gaming or streaming videos.

My Ping in games is usually around 30 to 40. My FPS never drops below 60.

Any ideas?

Flash the N300 with DD-WRT or Tomato and set up traffic shaping.

Or get a buffalo router and set up traffic shaping.

Also, lock your wifi down if you haven't already. WPA or WPA2. Follow this guide for your password:
