SF - more than likely thats a load of BS. A lot of times on eBay the sellers misrepresent their LEDs. 130,000 MCD? 50 of em for $9.50?

Feedback: 99.8% Positive
Feedback score: 3846

I would say that the seller is delivering honest goods

Lol, yeah, that's pretty bright. I understand he has good feedback, and perhaps the LEDs are very bright. But do any of his customers actually test them to see if they really are that bright? Do any of them even care?

Lol - either way, that's a good deal on LEDs.

If you want the best LEDs, get some Princeton Tec ones. Theyre a little expensive, but I lit my room up with one of them, so about 3 LEDs would light up a case very nicely.

Here's the site for the LEDs Princeton Tec uses:

Anyone able to tell me what mcd means? I know it's the amount of light output, but how is it measured?

MCD is short for milli candela.

Here is the wiki explination of it at wiki.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candela

Basicly it is the measure of the luminosity of light emited around the wavelength of 555 nanometers in the visible spectrum of light near green. To give you some examples a common candle emits roughly 1 cd. A 100 W incandescent lightbulb emits about 120 cd.

Remember they are giving there's in milli candela so a 1000th of a candela.

Hope this helps.

er, Mcd is megacandela, as far as i know.

mcd would be millicandela. it's all about the caps of the "m"

one is a reading lamp, one gives you a tan :P make sure you know which you're getting

I figured out where Princeton Tec gets their awesome bulbs. Just google Nichia LEDs.

EDIT: These would do nicely.
