Hiya Folks.

This is mostly aimed at the uk people....

Where do ya get your plexi from?

I am really struggling, and the only stuff I can find is like £300 for a sheet

I'm in the UK, so American or Australian shops are out...

Help for a noob?

Or rather, Home improvement stores.

They tend to have plexi/acrylic

also look for plastics shops

Try online, I find most shops are overpriced, you can sometimes find great prices online.

Any hints for a site that does it reasonably priced for mail order?

If the shipping 'aint astronomical, I suppose a non-UK supplier could work...

Most of the places I end up after a google tend to be more commercial oriented, selling to the trade and such like.

Living in deepest darkest Pembrokeshire has it's disadvantages.....

:edit: Oh, and I saw Home Depot on the TV once I think, and Lowes? Nope, never heard of it.

When I lived in the UK I bought some for making picture frames. Got it from the local DIY store. Hombase I think. Look in the DIY double glazing section.

Thanks for that Craig, thats a great link, and will be getting some trade in the very near future.

All sorts of colours, decent price and not in huge quantities.
