I am going to be building a new computer at the end of the summer and i was just wondering if I should get ddr or the ddr2 i have now

Well, the whole ddr thing can be a tough call. I don't think ddr2 is worth it unless you are getting 667Mhz or faster. The 533 stuff just doesn't seem like enough of a performance benefit to justify the cost. Like the origional ddr, its going to be tough to stay ontop of things because they will keep coming out with faster speeds. In my opinion though, I would go with the ddr2 to make your new computer as future-proof as possible. Happy shopping! :)
depends, if your using INTEL P4 E then use DDR2, Slower Intels use DDR
If your using an AMD Athlon, Duron, 64, FX or X2 then use DDR
If your using an AMD AM2 formfacter (New one, 940pins) then use DDR2 at 800, it runs sooooooo much faster.
