WAAAY too lazy for that... plus they're all about the same price anymore AND they all seem to have that crazy duct over the cpu... how am I supposed to work that into a pattern? HOW CAN I WORK IN THESE CONDITIONS?! *lol*

newegg it. Rosewill makes a cheap little black midtower. Black is the new beige.
You can find a million cheap black cases.

Thanks for the idea, nil8... but, like I said, I don't want that stupid arse cpu duct... which practically all of the cases on newegg have.... I'm cutting a devil head into the side, and that hole being off-center REALLY doesn't help...

Heres an idea...

Get a piece of shiney metal and cut it 2 inches smaller than the side of your case. Glue or bolt it onto your case (covering up the duct). Cut your devil head through both pieces...

Alittle bondo needs to smooth this out, did the same thing on my project:

Well, theres a few to help ya along :).

For the ones with holes I would recommend a rather pasty mix of auto body filler (bondo) so it doesn't fall through the holes. Followed by hand sanding with 40 then 80 then 220 grit sand paper. I say sand it byt hand because a power sander might knock it out of the holes.

For the last one any mix of bondo works, and feel free to power sand the heck out of it.

Thanks for the help, guys, but I'm kinda stuck right now with the plywood... which is going to be kind of a pain, but I think it'll work out.... I'll post my crappy work when I'm done... it will be called: PANDORA'S BOX!

alright, just remember to make sure it can stay cool. Wood traps heat pretty well, so plan for good airflow.
