Does anyone know how i would connect my coax tv to my computer? My x700 comes with a tv output. I dont have s-video or component connectors on my vcr,tv, or theartor reciver. I have looked high and low for a signal converter but there isnt one.
Is there a magic trick i can perform to get it to work?
I cant afford a new tv with the proper connectors or a new video card (nvidia doesnt have this problem).
Well, your TV must be pretty old to not have a component input.
BUT...
Yes it can be done. You will ned an RF Modulator. (Wow, did that sound nerdy).

I just found that with a google search so I'm not sure the quality.

I think you misunderstood me. Thats ok because i got what i needed from good ole ebay. My problem was the 7 pin connector. It turns out both the 4 and 7 pin connectors are both s-video.
This is a rare gem, behold its beauty... Its ok, you can breath now... :D

ah, yeah I had that problem. I think its something wierd with ATI cards. Mine came with an adapter, but when I tried to use it with my laptop it wouldn't fit. Glad you found what you needed though.

Well if you need an R/F modulator.. jsut use your old NES/SNES Antenna plug :) RCA plug that uses both sound and video signals in one cable, and I used it on my TV, and I was seeing something on it. Well, I only saw a huge pink square covering the TV, but that was because I had problems with my 3d card :)

No i dont need an RF modulator. I have newer equipment with most of the connetors. The one thing they all have in common is that they dont have s-video.
