Can I Get a Rebate on Both Items?

I plan to soon purchase two units of the Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 MM case fan (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103178), since it currently has a rebate (the normal price is ridiculously high, in my mind, so I would never purchase it for its full price), but I am wondering: if I purchase two fans in the same order, will I be able to receive a rebate for each fan? And will I need to mail two separate rebate forms, or can I mail one rebate form with the UPC code from each product? What does everyone else have to say on that subject?

So, I'm fairly certain that turning in two forms with the same receipt won't work. I have a feeling they check that sort of thing. They probably also check billing address or other things to make sure people don't order two with two separate order numbers and then get two rebates.

My suggestion would be to have a friend order it for you and get the rebate with their address. Give them $20, have them order it, then fill out all the paperwork for them and mail it for them, and then get the fan from them and collect the rebate card when it comes.

It would be very unfortunate if I needed to purchase only one fan myself and then have a friend purchase a second fan for me, but I double-checked the rebate form, and I found two key passages of text that may be helpful to me: "Limit 1 rebate per product per customer...household, or address" and "This offer allows customers to purchase a single product or combination of products listed above." To me, those clauses suggest that I could indeed purchase two fans and receive a rebate for each, but is there any user here who is an expert in such issues, and could provide a certain opinion? I would greatly appreciate any assistance on this subject.

I think that clause, "This offer allows customers to purchase a single product or combination of products listed above," is a generic form suggesting that there may be a rebate if you buy a case and fan, or CPU cooler and fan, for which there might be some other rebate offer. In your case, what is "listed above" is a single fan.

I know it's annoying, but the shipping is free, so having a friend buy it for you is annoying, but it's another address, so it would qualify.

After considering your words, D_Stilgar, I have decided that asking another person to order a fan for me shall be too difficult, so I shall instead simply order only one fan at the present time, since the rebates take six to eight weeks to process, and I do not wish to spend $40 up-front. These fans are for installation in a Cooler Master HAF XM case, which has two by default and can support up to four, but I do not even have the case yet, so the number of fans that I purchase is irrelevant at the present time, and I can always order a second fan later.
