I saw the "post you setup/work area thread" and thought we could do one for our desktops. As you can see I just installed the Public Beta of Vista. And its really great!

No. My first car is either going to be a Nissan 240sx (RPS13) or a Toyota Corolla GTS (AE86).

Both very good drifters, and cheap little econoboxes.

EDIT: And I'm leaning towards the 240, because, well, I'm a nissan guy (I can name some engine codes, a few chassis codes, and, well, nissan is quality.)

..this is my desktop.. (it's win xp with a vista mod :p tried vista, but drivers were just too.. lacking :( no network for me, so no vista for my pc... xp sp2 is just fine for now..)

Has anyone here tried Aston Shell? Man its cool but it has a learning curve to it. Plus no one else will know how to do anything on your computer.

I have tried it for about two minutes, then I couldn't find where to change some settings. Tried to change some other settings, and just didn't work out for me... I hate aston shell, but maybe it's just me... I'll just stick to windows for the moment...

I hope you reralize that 2560 x 1024 for two _19"_ moniters is crap. I ran that on two 17' moniters. You should be doing 3200*1200

to each his own. I sometimes run 1024x768 on my 19 inch if I want to be able to read easier.

wow, and I hated my 14.1" laptop screen with 1024x768 res because everything was big :eek:
How far are you from that monitor? you must be able to read while standing on the other side of the street...

I don't care much about native resolution. Sure the edges of text arn't crystal clear, but I have trouble reading text sometimes so I run at a lower res to be able to read it better without messing up text placement. But for video games and such its always native res.

if you have DVI it shouldnt look as bad. But native always looks best. (from my experience that is)

I see that you also have oblivion. How do you like it? And what do you use to run it? I think its a pretty good game. Not as entertaining as I hoped but with a xtasy 300se.. what do you expect? lol now thats bravery if you ask me.. admitting that I have a xtasy 300se... ANYWHO! I would load my background up but I am having troubles with Stardock and Wincustomize.com I dont think they like me anymore? lol
