You can use the program to make your own posters. It works really well I might add. There are some pretty cool features. The best is that it is totally free.

Here is one I made today.

I really like the idea of the program. I would sugjest using kinkos to print the images so you can have the best quality. My only problem is that the walls in my apartment are allready plastered with 80's movie poster. I have 50 or so posters covering the top half of my walls. I've got posters in the living room, kitchen, hallway, bedroom, and a bunch in the bathroom. The idea was to simulate wallpaper. I think i achived it rather well.

I have some really cool ones and wouldnt want to take them down or move them to put up somthing like this. Come on... I've got all the good movies covered. Rambo, the corsican brothers, up in smoke, scarface, invasion of the body snatchers, police academy, fire starter, ect, ect, ect, ect, ect...

I might make one of thies for my buddy who just got an apartment of his own and maybe my mom's would like one.

That is such a neat idea. I'm playing with it at work right now.

Cana-Balistic - you wouldn't happen to have a poster for Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, would you? I used to have one, waaaay back in the day, and it got lost somehow.

Ok, so I made another one today. That first was just a way to get familiar with the program and what the result is. I went to the University Press and made my 56 page version today and then glued it all on poster sized cardstock so that it is a little more sturdy and movable. Now I have a huge poster for less than $10.

This is a pic of my gf.

Umm... i think your infatuation with that girl is a little obsesive. Wouldnt you think it was weird if somone had a larger than life poster of you on there wall? Com'on... ;)

It's not an obession. She would get mad if I had a huge poster of anyone else, and it was as much or more fun making it as it is having it on the wall.

Damn, I can't use a custom paper size of 1070mmx886.11mm anyone know how to fix this problem? (Yes, I want a PDF file that large!)

Did you download the standalone program? That's what I did and I was making pics that were 3x2m+.

Errr... I used a custom sized piece of paper, and it was the stand alone program!

Yeah, I don't know what's up.

If you do it as one big pic it wont show a progress bar. I think the progress bar is based off how many pages are done. So if you have one big paper you might just want to wait for a while for it to be finished.

EDIT: I found the error....

Note to self: Don't use decimels!

Rasterbator is great, I like it! It creates images from large dots. It is an interesting art technic, but when I need to print exact enlarged image, I use this poster printer (http://www.ronyasoft.com/products/proposter/).
Poster which I made by this program:

About that obsessive thing regarding having a huge poster of your girlfriend: You should be OK as long as you don't get a tattoo of her.

My gf is now my wife. This is very old. It also looks like a spammer posing that other poster software.
