Well i got an old cammera a while ago and never though much of it. Recently i've been wanting to take some pictures with it but the lense doesnt zoom. I went to the pawn shop and picked up a lense. To my dismay it didnt fit. Now i dont know what the cammera is compared to the lense but they are both 52 (/) and i thought they would fit.

Can somone who's in the know about cammeras tell me what i may need to get this lense onto this cammera?

The cammera is a RICOH KR-10 Super SLR. Its either the best or the worst in its line up. The information on the cammera was unclear about this. The others in its class are KR-6, KR-8, ect, I think it might be the best (because of the number).

The Rikenon RICOH lense that came with this cammera:

The Soligor lense that i just bought. It has a Minolta P-adapter:

Obviously there are noticable diffrences. The new lense fits into the cammera loosely and doesnt grab the locking ring at all.

What kind of adapter would i need?

Every 35mm camera has a different mount. Minolta cameras need a Minolta mount, Nikon would need a Nikon mount, etc. In order for you to find a lense for it, you probably would have to go to a good camera store. Wolf might have a lense, but probably not. You can try ebay, but again, you are taking a chance. The lense you have had a diameter of 52mm and a focal lenght of 50mm, a standard lense to come with a camera. you might find it easier to just get a new camera. There are many auto-focus cameras that work very nicely.

Thats a pretty neat article, Ill check into that.

On another note, I took a trek to the cammera store. With my cammera and lenses in hand, I grilled the guy behind the counter. Now unfortunatly the cammera has a Pentax K Mount and the lense i bought will not fit under any circumstance.

Luckly the pawn shop bought back the lense for $5 (i paid 9.99). Not a bad price for not doing my home work. Now its time to look for a new zoom lense.

[Edit]

Every 35mm camera has a different mount.

The guy at the store told me that i have a very popular mount and i could easily get new lenses for it. I had just got the wrong lense.

Here's your answer:

Since the camera is designed to accept any lens with the "K" type bayonet mount, your KR-10 affords you the opportunity to select any interchangeable lens or accessory of the "K" type bayonet mount available on the market.
Google is your friend.
I found a copy of your camera's manual Chinnon/Ricoh KR-10 (http://www.butkus.org/chinon/kr-10/kr-10.htm) I think they were sold at sears.

K-mounts are pretty common.

The pentax K mount is probably the widest used mount in the world, you should have no problem picking up second hand lenses for very low prices. There's literally millions of them out there. You can get K-Mount adapters like here http://www.pacificrimcamera.com/catalog/bx31.htm also you can get custom ones made. These can all get pretty pricey as they're mostly used for connecting old expensive leica lenses to modern cameras and so on. If you can't find the right one on ebay (a great source for cheap adapters!) I'd say you're best off reselling your lens and buying a new one anyway as the aperture control still might not work right even with an adapter.
Or try this http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article_pages/Canon_1ds_pinhole.html

Hope some of this was helpful.
