I dont know what religion you are but it doesnt matter because this church satirizes all religion. I dont know what you are going to think about this but it truly pisses me off.

Wow. I am not religious at all, but I don't think religion really matters here. That just filled me with an indescribable rage.
That is not a satanist. That is an insane christian church. Wiki the church group, they are crazy. Like needs to be brainwashed to be fixed crazy.
I know satanists. LeVayan and Lucifierian. Dont drag them into this silly nonsensical bulls&%t.
This is the kind of crap that comes from extreme censorship and lack of knowledge. These people are a side affect of 'preserving moral fiber'. They are few but common and often very annoying at best.

Well, I think they were right, this is definatley mind-numbing. This message she is preaching COMPLETELY CONTRADICTS WHAT SHE CLAIMS TO BELIVE. I really can't find words right now. She is wrong in almost every way possible. I don't uderstand how she can possibly think the way she does without being insane.

Well here's my take on the whole "religion" subject.
Asuming there is a god.
1. We are all gods creatures and are subject to the same rules. Since all other forms of life play upon natural instinct, that must be the way god intended for us.
If you see an animal killing, its instinc and so forth must be gods way.
We shouldnt hold ourselfs to what is written in a book by people who thought the earth was flat.
2. He must hate us real bad. Religion is the #1 cause of war and has claimed more lives than all other wars combined.
If god doesnt exist:
1. Then no rules apply and there are no consequences nor rewards for any action. Everything we do will be in vain.
2. trillions of people have been brainwashed to believe in a book written by folk who thought the world was flat and would burn you at the stake if you said otherwise.
My opinion:
I believe in the religion of Cana-Balistic. Heard no where else but the glorious church of my brain.
I just do what i think is right.
P.S. Yeah i think that chick has a few screws loose.
I hope i dont have a funneral. I would want people to be cheery and happy. Rejoice in my passing with laughter and praise.

Religion is the #1 cause of war and has claimed more lives than all other wars combined.
POW!!! right in the toast! that is very true. crusades... suicide bombers... it all happens because "god wills it". i should admit right now that i am very anti-religious, i wear a fossil ammonite around my neck just to advertise that... because paleontology and geology are both huge opponents to religion in general.
trillions of people have been brainwashed to believe in a book
thats a scary thought, and its most probably true. the mere fact that we have thousands of different copies of scriptures shows that there has been about 1500 years of interpretation built in. if they ever find a way to get back to the original ideas of the bible... or any religious writings... they would probably have a very good bed time story.
i get a kick out of how offended people get when the bible is treated poorly. i had an english teacher who would toss it around, and put stickies all over it. he analyzed it for what it was, and nothing more, and yet people found that offensive... some of my ex-friends did... note the ex part... they were borderlined fanatic, and i dont take too kindly to that.
anyways, yes those videos... those "people" are disgusting for the most part. i only agree with one aspect. there really are no innocent people anymore.... we're all f**king this place up together, like it or not. as much as i dont like to see this sort of person in the world, i also hold no sympathy for people in general anymore... unless they can really convince me to give a damn about them (a very select few have managed). id rather see a human disappear before a bear, or lynx.
i think i have a solution for both of my problems though. if those people thank god for dead soldiers, why not give them the chance to be one of the dead soldiers? that way they can have the ultimate honor, and we have a few less useless people in the world... its a win-win situation.
Christianity isn't the only religion and isn't the only one worth looking at critically. On top of the monotheistic groups, there's all kinds of different ideas. From new age to sufi to setian satanism, there's lots of different approaches to religion/spirituality.
Try your hand at all sorts of religious practices, view them in a critical manner and LEARN SOMETHING. The whole point of any good system is to make yourself a better you.
Doing bland overdone critizing of one religion you haven't studied doesn't get you or anyone else anywhere better.
Nutcases are going to happen and fairly common. The easiest way to deal with them is learn to manipulate their paranoid tendencies into something useful.
I bet those zealots are really good at making pallets, and if you give them a woodburning kit and let them put a cross on it, then it's done for the Lord. Huzzah. Work programs for the mentally incompetent.
Yes, a few hundred years ago people thought the world was flat. Should that tell you something about how science fumbles? It wasn't just religious figures that said this. Scientists helped prove it.
Science isn't always right and occasionally they muck up real bad. Real bad.
Remember blood letting? 200 years ago?
Or during the Civil War, that a sign of pus meant healing? 150 years ago?
Or how about in the early 1900's when they treated burn victims by dipping them in boiling hot water?
Or how about DDT in the 1960's?
Or how about prescription drugs that cause diabetes and heart failure?
This list can go on and on and on.
I'm not saying science hasn't advanced our lives in more ways than we can imagine. I am saying that you shouldn't have faith in it. You shouldn't have faith in anything but you. You determine your life. Not a spook in the sky or your ipod. You.

WOW, that's a real unique breed of crazy you have in America, that woman is demented! I think if you look at the bottom line of any religion from christianity to moslem through hindu, buddhism, krisna, judaism, bahai, quaker or any I missed the one message in common is just be good to each other. How that loony missed that completely in the bible is stunning!

yes, but in this case we're dealing with some sort of christianity. i see no point in gong into generalizations more than the fact that i dont agree with any religion at all.
i get the vibe that you must be religious in some way, nil8... not that it matters, but you just dont hear that sort of rant coming from an athiest.
all i can say about that science thing is that even though there were mistakes, they were made with the intentions of helping, and some sort of perceived proof and reasoning. i dont know if you can say that about most religions... someone walks on water, someone was created from mud... to me they all just sound like epic stories that have been around for ages. we sure as hell dont commit genocide in the name of science......
i could have sworn that back when they did blood letting, like the time of the plague... priests acted as "doctors"... could have sworn that science was considered heressy back then. if we're talking about 200 years ago.. well there werent many people who were completely trained in sciences... lots of dentists back then were just pretending they knew what to do.
Doing bland overdone critizing of one religion you haven't studied
just be careful if you were directing that towards me. i dont take too kindly to being called ignorant. i know plenty about lots of religions... i just dont give a damn, thats all.
the one message in common is just be good to each other
as long as everyone is of the same religion... inter-religious friendliness, well that most definitely will not happen when every religion is claiming to be THE religion, and that their god is THE god, and that everyone else is wrong.
im cutting myself off here... im starting to think about injustice in general, and im getting pissed off.

ALL things in moderation, INCLUDING religion.
I personally don't believe in some sky dwelling fairytale god that threatens his creations with eternal damnation if they don't follow some nonsensical scripture.
That woman and her whole family is quite screwed up. I have been following them for about a year now and it is a CULT in every sense of the word.
I think something like 99% of the congregation is from the same family and are all related to the pastor.
Religion is the cause of MOST ills in society.

This is Just My opinion...
I dont think most of u guys that are athiest should be saying things you dont know about christianity because you have no clue about it ur just throwing out crap u have heared or just made up. I've been to many forums when a bunch of athiest comment about stuff that was said in the bible and all this crap that never even happened. Im not saying all athiest dont know about christianity but most don't of course since they are athiest.

I'm a christian and I'll be the first to admit it. I'll also admit that the misinterpretation of the Bible and the warping of it to suit ones own personal needs have caused a majority of the world's wars. If you read the Bible, it nowhere advocates wars (at least no where in the teaching of Jesus). It advocates pacifism. And when one warps the Bible and Christianity to warp their own needs, then it is no longer Christianity. This lady is not a christian. If she would actually stop and read the Bible (you know, that book her religion is founded on) she would change her ways. Of course, she's brainwashed, so probably not. Those people make me sick. Man.

.jrauck and vidas7de7jesus7...
Amen.. couldn't have said it better..
i get the vibe that you must be religious in some way, nil8... not that it matters, but you just dont hear that sort of rant coming from an athiest.
I'm spiritual but not religious. I don't prescribe to any faith other than the idea of self. I don't have beliefs, I have thoughts. Beliefs hold you into a thought form, where thoughts can be changed at will.
Right now the easiest way to classify me is as a Discordian Kabbalist. I really don't like this because anyone that sees that without knowing what it means thinks I do that ignorant, mind numbing crap that Hollywood buys into. That stuff is just as bad as any organized religion without any belief or faith. It's tripe and should be treated as such.
I'm not an athiest, or agnostic or anything. I'm me. I study, I attempt, and I record. Then I contemplate. I think about my findings. I try to understand the why and the how at the same time for things that most people are afraid of.
I could go on a rant right now about Al Crowley and why he called himself the antichrist, but this isn't the kind of forum for that.
I think we must remove Aristotelian logic from our problem solving and get rid of the ideas of Cartesian thought patterns before we can actually discover any type of subjective advancement. For those of you who want to know more, please pm me. I am willing to give references to expand themselves. It's long, hard and requires more thought than most people want to exert, but I find it to be worthwhile. Someone else out there might as well.
I don't believe in inner wisdom over science, or any other new age hippy crap.
If you have cancer, put down the rhubarb and go get some chemo. Stop ignoring what works in place of what you think. Damn hippies.
all i can say about that science thing is that even though there were mistakes...i dont know if you can say that about most religions... someone walks on water, someone was created from mud... to me they all just sound like epic stories that have been around for ages. we sure as hell dont commit genocide in the name of science......
You're right, people don't typically kill in the name of science. The reason for this is because science advancement happens in countries that have gone past the idea of killing everyone who disagrees.
As for the stories, the point is the message, not the story. People take things too literally. The message you get is for you and should be applied how you see fit.
George Washington was killed from leeching/blood letting. It continued on until Louis Pasteur, the great scientist he was.
I'm not critizing anyone in particular. I just don't like uninformed people. If you want to learn do so, if not, then ignore the issue. If you're not going to learn at least something about it, then why debate about it?
Back on topic, the church is like 85% of that family and they are crazy. There are brothers and sisters that left that are basically dead to the wacko nutjob that runs the show.

It is not their love of humanity but the impotence of their love of humanity that prevents today's Christians from burning us.

They should institute the draft just for that woman and her family. She obviously hasnt seen the hand in which a considerate manner kills. It would totaly flip her views

Ask her to prove her faith by walking into an incinerator. If her god is so hands-on, he'll surely protect her. My money's on her ****ting out and having a sudden bout of atheism.
The most important value in a religeon should be tolerance, or maybe in her case, how to shut the hell up.
